Governor Charles W. Turnbull has proclaimed the month of May as "Multiple Sclerosis Awareness Month" in the Virgin Islands.
A disease of the central nervous system, multiple sclerosis affects more than 500,000 persons and has no cure.
Residents are encouraged to become aware of the results of this devastating disease.
