Gov. Charles Turnbull has nominated seven St. Croix residents to serve on the Government Hospitals and Health Facilities Corp.
Nominated for three-year terms are Gloria G. Bell, a retired V.I. government employee. Bell will replace Ada M. Powell-Acoy. Maria M. Hennemann, an assistant vice president for Banco Popular, is being reappointed the board.
Wallace Phaire Sr., an instructor at the Educational Complex Vocational School, has been nominated to succeed Julia Panky. Derick O. Steinman, an investment banker and former hospital board member, will take the place of Rita de Chabert Schuster. Nominated to take the place of Gloria Waterman is Pastor Lester White of the Lord God of Sabaoth Lutheran Church in Christiansted.
Filling vacant spots on the Juan Luis Hospital Board are assistant personnel director Godfrey Fredericks Jr. and Frances Molloy.
