The current cycle for people to collect cash rebates on the purchase price of energy- efficient major appliances and other qualifying items will end Sept. 30, according to a release from the V.I. Energy Office.
So far, the release said, the Energy Office has rebated a total of $83,000 to Virgin Islanders during this cycle, which began last November.
In order to collect rebates, persons who have purchased qualifying items must submit rebate applications to the Energy Office by Oct. 15.
