CLINICAL SERVICES RELOCATED

0

Clinical services previously available on the second floor of the Community Health Clinics at the Charles Harwood Complex have been relocated, Dr. Wilbur K. Callender, commissioner of Health, announced Wednesday. Repairs to the building have made the relocation necessary for patient convenience and safety.
The clinics will be relocated as follows:
– Food Handlers cards can be obtained on the second floor next to Family Planning administrative offices. They are open Monday to Thursday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
– Diabetic, primary care, dermatology, cardiology and dental clinics as well as appointment clerks and cashiers will be in the MCH Annex, next to the main building.
– The eye clinic and the HIV/STD clinic have moved to Frederiksted Health Center/Ingeborg Nesbitt Clinic. Services are available Monday and Wednesday. The staff is available daily, however, for information and counseling.
"We are asking the public's understanding and cooperation on the relocation while the hurricane Lenny damage is repaired," Callender said.
