The Antilles School International Dinner has been a tradition for 12 years. Open to the public, it highlights and celebrates the multicultural makeup of the student body, encompassing 18 different nations as well as the St. Thomas community. All of the dishes are prepared by Antilles parents.
This year's all-you-can-eat dinner will be held on Saturday, Jan. 29, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the St. Thomas Yacht Club. It will feature the cuisine of India, Cuba, Puerto Rico, South America, Bulgaria, all the islands of the Caribbean, the Middle East, France, Italy, Denmark, Germany, Sweden, Britain, Ireland and many regions of the U.S. mainland, including a number of special desserts.
General admission tickets are $12 in advance and $15 at the door; those for students 12 and under are $7 in advance and $10 at the door. There will be a separate cash bar and also a 50/50 cash raffle. To arrange to get tickets in advance, call the school at 776-1600.
