The St. Croix Welfare Center has chosen Sunday, May 21, as the date for its 25th annual Clambake to raise funds for the Animal Shelter. This year’s Clambake will be held at Duggan's Reef Restaurant, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. with food served from noon to 4 p.m.
The Clambake is sponsored by VITELCO. There will be a cash bar, a raffle with many, many prizes, steamer clams, shrimp, barbequed chicken, hot dogs, hamburgers and all the trimmings. There will be games for kids and live music on the beach. Tickets would be a great Mothers Day gift and a fun day for the family. Adult tickets are $30 per person, kids from 5 to 12 $10, and kids under 5 free. Tickets can be purchased at the Animal Shelter, any Board Member or sent by mail, time permitting, Call 778-1650 for more information or to make a reservation.
