Dear Source:
I'm in the United States and it's pretty sad when people ask me where I'm from. And with much response from my answer, they really don't know where the Virgin Islands is located.
Call it ignorance, dumb, or whatever you want to call it, but truth of the fact is there are not many commercials or promotions advertising the U.S. Virgin Islands. Americans associate the "islands" as just being Jamaica.
Apparently, our fellow neighboring islands are doing something right. Tourism is our main industry, therefore we should do whatever it takes to reshape our islands to attract tourism and ultimately boost our economy, which is having serious problems.
Last but not least, the Source. You guys are doing an excellent job. Keep up the good work!
