IMAGE BAND HEADLINES AT HARBOUR NIGHT

Harbour Night, a Caribbean street festival, will take place 7 p.m.to midnight Wednesday, Jan.3 on on the waterfront at Strand Street in Frederiksted.
Harbour Night will welcome 3,500 passengers and crew of the Carnival Victory.
The World Famous Image Band will be on hand to provide world class entertainment. Additional entertainment will be provided by Junie and the Jungle, Noel's Band, The Karamu Afi Dance and Drum Troupe and Willard John's Mocko Jumbies.
There will be more than 50 art, crafts, and food vendors offering their wares. Entertainment begins at 8 p.m. and a large turnout is expected.
"Crucian Fruits," a musical stage production takes place at Fort Frederik during each Harbour Night, with two shows per evening. The production is an exciting musical that uses song, dance, and dramatic narrative to explore the Crucian culture.
Tickets are $24.95. Locals and hotel guests receive a 40% discount. Times vary.
As scheduled for each Harbour Night, there is a parking ban on Strand Street in Frederiksted from 5 p.m. until midnight. This event is scheduled every two weeks through April 1, 2001.
