Sen. Lorraine Berry announced Friday that Rev. Troy DeChabert Schuster has issued an invitation to all elected officials in the territory to attend a Mass of Special Prayers at 9 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 7 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish.
Schuster will dedicate the homily to all elected officials, asking God's blessings that they come together for the people of the Virgin Islands, and for their own peace of mind.
Berry's release said invitations have also been extended to Gov. Charles W. Turnbull, Lt. Gov. Luz James II, and Delegate to Congress Donna Christensen.
