Juancito C. Gario, known to his friends as "Juan," of Strawberry Hill, died Monday, March 12 in East Brunswick, New Jersey. He was 69.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, March 19 at the Ebenezer Methodist Church in Estate Richmond. A viewing will begin at noon.
Interment will follow in Kingshill Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Josephine "Emily Dolphin" Gario; daughters, Sylvan and Minerva Gario; sons, Sylvio Gario, Sylcio Gario, and Juancito Gario Jr.; step-daughters, Adell Dolphin- Battle, Jacinth Dolphin, and Shirmell Dolphin; stepson, Darvell Dolphin; sisters, Christina, Altagracia, Antonia, Beatrice, and Gloria Gario; brothers, Edgar, Wilfred, Thomas "Mashie", and Aniceto "Netto" Gario; son-in-law, Sammy Battle; numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends.
Funeral arrangements are under the care of James Memorial Funeral Home.
