May 24, 2001 – A counselor from the Veterans Affairs regional office in Puerto Rico will be in the territory on Wednesday and Thursday to meet with veterans to discuss benefits, claims, pensions and compensation procedures.
Hector Betancourt will be on St. Thomas on Wednesday, to hold continuous meetings between 2 and 7 p.m. at the Veterans Affairs office in the AQ Building across from Nisky Center.
He will be on St. Croix on Thursday to hold similar meetings, also from 2 to 7 p.m., at the Veterans Affairs office in Estate Richmond, Christiansted.
