ANOTHER JOY-FUL GET TOGETHER THIS FRIDAY

July 17, 2001 – "Inspired by yet another wonderful, well-attended evening last week," Color of Joy owner Corinne Van Rensselaer says, it will be get-together time again this Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. on the deck outside the East End St. Thomas art gallery and gift shop.
Live music, art and complimentary wine, cheese and crackers make for good company and good conversation on the broad Marlin Deck overlooking the American Yacht Harbor docks. Jazz guitarist Tony Oliver, who made his Color of Joy debut last Friday, will be back for a second session with pianist/vocalist Sally Smith, and other local musicians are encouraged to show up and sit in.
The laid-back gathering with a high-level comfort quotient is "a great way to finish the week or start the weekend," Van Rensselaer says. And for those heading home to St. John from St. Thomas, it's a convenient stop just steps from the Red Hook ferry dock.
