The Ayyam-i-ha holiday begins each year on Feb. 26, and lasts until march 1. The Bah'i calendar is based on a solar year that begins on March 21, and includes 19 months of 19 days, plus 4 or 5 additional days which bring to a total the number of days as 365 or 366 in a leap year.
Local Baha'is celebrate Ayyam-i-ha in many special ways, including service and community projects.
