March 20, 2002 – The St. Thomas Assembly of God church will present a theatrical musical production from Trinidad and Tobago at 7 p.m. Saturday, March 30, at the Bertha C. Boschulte Middle School Auditorium.
"Wounded Hands" was written by actor Hal Greaves and performed by J. Errol Lewis and Renaissance Productions. Staged epecially for the Lenten season, the production presents the timeless story of Christ's death. This is a "must see" for the entire family, said a release from the church.
Appearing along with Renaissance will be local vocalist Neomie Toussaint-Williams, the Lansiquot Sisters, and Miming Sensation of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church.
In an effort to address the realization that families need to spend more time together, Dr. George E. Phillips, pastor, and members of the St. Thomas Assembly of God church, the release stated, will provide wholesome family activities each month.
Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for children under 12. Tickets are available at Daniel's Variety Store, Havensight Bible Books and Gift Shop, Nisky Bible Books and Gift Shop, Orchid Boutique, and VI Bridal and Tuxedo Center.
