Two scholarships of up to $60,000 will be offered to high school seniors graduating from local high schools who intend to obtain a bachelor's degree in engineering or a computer-related field of study.
The Authority will also be offering two Alva C. McFarlane Scholarships of up to $20,000 to high school seniors who plan to obtain an associate degree in a technical field, such as mechanical, civil, electrical, electronics, metal trades or computer-related fields.

Summer employment at WAPA facilities will be provided. Scholarship recipients must pledge to work for WAPA for each year of education financed.
