'RUN TO YOUR LIBRARY' RACE IS EARLY SATURDAY

April 19, 2002 – "Run To Your Library," says Wallace Williams, who should know: he's head librarian at the Florence Williams Public Library in Christiansted and recordkeeps, whistleblows, sets the pace, and otherwise organizes V.I. Pace Runners events.
"Run To Your Library" is a 5K (3.1 miles) race held in honor of National Library Week. This year's event is Saturday, April 20; registration begins at 5:30 a.m., the race starts at 6 a.m. The entry fee is $5.
This race is sanctioned by the V.I. Track and Field Federation and supported by the Friends of the Library.
The course is four laps, down King Street to Company Street to Times Square to the library.
