Dear Source,
Ours is a government of the people, by the people and for the people, and we, the people, are not doing a good job.
I am disturbed by our government's ineffectiveness and negative impact on our lives. Are you?
I believe that we as strong, concerned individuals can have an extremely positive effect and that it is time we share our intelligence and expertise and help this territory fix itself. Do you?
I think we need to encourage people to register to vote, and we need to teach them the importance of their individual vote and how it can impact this community. What do you think?
I plan to start a "get out and vote" campaign and will encourage the Rotary Clubs and other service and business associations to organize well-publicized voter registrations. What do you want to do?
I am amazed that the challengers to the governor and senators have not begun to campaign yet. How do we get the candidates to begin to discuss the issues and their positions befoer next October so that we can make informed decisions? And how do we get our senators to become more accountable?
Let me know your thoughts.
