EMS-PARK SERVICE TO HOLD RECOGNITION CEREMONY

May 28, 2002 – There will be a recognition ceremony of the collaborative relationship between the Department of Health, EMS Division and the National Park Service at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, May 29, at the Battery on St. John.
A Life Pack 12 Monitor Defibrillator has been made available to the Emergency Medical Services by the National Park Service. This is a multi-functional piece of equipment that can be used by all EMT's; It's a defibrillator, a cardiac monitor capable of performing advance EKG's in the field, a blood pressure monitor and an ozygen sturation monitor.
The public is invited to attend.
