"Understanding Your Septic System" is the next workshop in the UVI Cooperative Extension Service's series on home and farm water quality.
The St. Croix presentation will be at 7 p.m. July 23, in Room 133 of the UVI Research and Extension Center.
Topics covered will include: how septic systems function; how to site and design a system; how to operate and maintain a system; failure warning signs; and evaluating septic systems for pollution potential.
