Dec. 5, 2002 – With St. Croix's Dial-A-Ride Service out of operation, individuals with special public transportation needs can instead use VITRAN Plus, a Public Works Department release states.
VITRAN Plus provides door-to-door service Monday through Saturday in wheelchair-accessible vehicles. The fares are $2 one way and $4 round trip.
Reservations for VITRAN Plus service must be made at least 24 hours in advance, the release stated, and they can be made by calling 773-1290, ext. 2238.
