Home Community Schools UVI BULLETIN BOARD

April 2, 2003 – The University of the Virgin Islands Bulletin Board issued March 31 has these announcements:
UVI Advisement and Registration Period Begins; Web Registration Available
A period of advisement and registration for continuing, matriculated UVI students — undergraduate, graduate, part-time and full-time — began March 31 and continues through April 9 on both university campuses. Students will be registering for the fall 2003 semester (which runs from Aug. 18 through Dec. 14, 2003) as well as for the 2003 summer session (which runs from June 9 through July 23, 2003).
School officials point out that, for the first time, students will be able to complete the registration process online, via the Internet. The process is available to all continuing, matriculated students who have access to the Internet. This means they can register from home as well as from any computer lab at UVI.
All students must begin the registration process with a visit to their advisers. Advisers will provide the appropriate registration forms as well as PIN (personal identification numbers) to those planning online registration.
Full-time students should pick up schedules and registration forms from their advisers. Part-time students may obtain schedules and registration forms from the Office of the Registrar on St. Thomas or the Academic Services Office on St. Croix. Non-matriculated students are encouraged to meet with a faculty member within the division associated with the courses they plan to take.
Registration — both online and in person — will be conducted on the following schedule. Students not registering online should submit their registration forms to the Office of the Registrar on St. Thomas or the Academic Services Office on St. Croix.
