May 10, 2003 – Gerri Isles of Christiansted is the winner of the $2,500 grand prize given away by FirstBank Virgin Islands. The $2,500 Certificate of Deposit Sweepstakes was held to coincide with the opening of the new Sunny Isle branch of the bank.
Isles, who is the office manager for Continental Movers, was selected at random from a pool of participants who attended the bank's three-day Business Power Banking reception held March 27.
FirstBank Virgin Islands, Sunny Isle, will hold an award ceremony as part of their branch-opening celebration at 11 a.m. Tuesday.
The new facility is positioned to service businesses and individuals in Sunny Isle. The new branch boasts five drive-through tellers, two walk-up ATMs, a drive through ATM and a night depository window that can be accessed by vehicle.
Sunny Isle is the 11th full-service branch, making FirstBank Virgin Islands the largest banking network in the U.S. Virgin Islands.
