May 24, 2003 – Derick Caines, aka Stanley DeGrasse, died on Tuesday, May 20, at Pavia Hospital in Puerto Rico. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, May 30, at the Davis Funeral Home Chapel. The viewing is from 9-10 a.m. in the chapel.
Davis is survived by his mother, Evelyn DeGrasse; wife, Mae DeGrasse Caines; children, Tony, Dexter and Deborah DeGrasse, Alison DeGrasse Ford and Antoinette DeGrasse Diaz; sister Venereen David; brothers, Alphonso and Clyde David; four grandchildren; and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
