BUSINESSWOMAN PENNY FULTS DIED SATURDAY

June 15, 2003 — ,Longtime St. Thomas resident Penny Fults died peacefully on Saturday, at her Upper Caret Bay home, after a years-long battle with cancer,
Penny and her family moved to St. Thomas in the mid-sixties.
Shortly thereafter, Penny and her husband Ted along with Suzanne and Terry Robinson started The Drafting Shaft. In the early seventies her interior design talents created the Cloth Horse, a home furnishing and interior design studio that remains in operation at Fort Mylner.
Penny was preceded in death by her husband Ted. She is survived by her daughter, Susan Fults, of Naples, Florida, son Jeffrey Fults, daughter-in-law Caroline and granddaughter, Elizabeth of Delray Beach, Fla.
There will be a private gathering of family and close friends to celebrate her life. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the St. Thomas Humane Society.
