SERVICE IS SEPT. 10 FOR DANIEL B. ROMNEY, 71

Sept. 4, 2003 — Daniel Benjamin Romney of No. 56 Smith Bay died at the age of 71 at Roy L. Schneider Hospital on Aug. 30, 2003.
Viewing will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 9, at Davis Funeral Home Chapel. A second viewing will be from 9 to 10 a.m. at Shiloh Seventh Day Adventist Church, with the funeral service at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Western Cemetery.
Romney, better known as "Big Dan," was born in Tortola to the late Ben Romney and Sarah Hodge. He was a taxi driver and a member of the St. Thomas Taxi Association.
He is survived by his sons, Dale and Dean Romney; grandson, Dean A. Romney Jr.; sisters, Lucille Harley and Mary Malone of St. Thomas and Iris Fahie of Tortola; brothers, Albert Romney of New York and Carl Romney of St. Thomas; daughter-in-law, Tamara Romney, sisters-in-law, Cecilia and Melsada Romney; brothers-in-law, Holman Harley, Ernest Fahie and Romeo Malone; significant other, Julieth Lettsome; nieces, Aldrea Maduro, Monique Joseph, and Lisa Todman; nephews, Kebo Joseph and Andrew Fahie; special friends, Walter Hyman, Jerry Jennings, Boisey Benjamin, Wellington Romeny, Zulma Brooks, Albert Woods, and Lawrence Ramdlian; and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
Arrangements are by the Davis Funeral Home.
