'TIS THE SEASON: GIVE THANKS, AND PASS IT ON

Assuming I could run forever on a nearly bald tire, I was traveling down the east end road recently when I ran through a small rockfall. Nothing remarkable after the rains we've had of late, but there was a particularly sharp rock among the rest and I had an instant flat. Unfortunately, I was approaching a downhill curve and had no possibility of pulling off the road due to the thick overgrowth of bush.
What a surprise when, moments after I realized my predicament, four good samaritans pulled over to help! They had just changed a flat of their own and were doubtless looking forward to a cold drink down the road at Cheesburgers BUT they stopped without a second thought. We had up and down hill traffic control, a pit crew of two and an insect control officer. I was on my way again in 30 minutes thanks to these wonderful strangers. Thank you so much!
