March 14, 2004 – Applications are available at the Division of Personnel on St. Croix for the correction officer examination, which will be given on March 25 and 26 for the District of St. Croix only. Deadline to apply is March 19.
All candidates are expected to submit a high school diploma or high school Equivalency, proof of U.S. citizenship, driver's license and Social Security card with the application, Kevin Rodriquez, acting director of Personnel said. Further, he said, all qualified applicants will receive an admission card on March 19, which must be presented along with a valid photo ID at the designated testing site.
All candidates who sat the prior examination on March 2001 are required to sign up in order to retake the examination, due to expiration of eligibility.
