May 26, 2004 – The Red Hook Community Alliance will hold an emergency meeting for the community at 6 p.m. tonight on the Marlin Deck of the American Yacht Harbor in Red Hook to discuss the next steps to take in the fight to preserve Vessup Beach. An e-mail release from the group stated, "All concerned community members are asked to attend this very critical meeting."
