St. John Bus Service Unchanged for July 3 and 4

June 29, 2004 – On St. Thomas and St. Croix, VITRAN buses will not operate on Emancipation Day, July 3, or Independence Day, July 4, Public Works Commissioner Wayne Callwood announced on Tuesday.
On St. Croix, there will be no fixed-route or Americans with Disabilites Act services on Saturday or Monday.
On St. Thomas, there will be no fixed-route or ADA services on Monday.
Meanwhile on St. John, with the July 4th Celebration reaching its climax, "all VITRAN services will function as normal during the Emancipation and Fourth of July holidays," a release stated.
