July 3, 2004 – A team of 20 young adults this week are beautifying areas on St. Croix.
A joint press release from Wayne Callwood Department of Public Works commissioner, and Eileen Harris-Pennick, director of the Anti-litter & Beautification Commission Youth Environmental Summer Program, said areas being cleaned are Estate Carlton to Williams Delight and from Williams Delight to West Airport road. The group will be working in those areas from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. until Friday, July 9.
The motoring public is being asked to drive with caution and to keep their eyes out for these dedicated young people.
