July 8, 2004 – The Grove Place Weed and Seed Youth Group will hold a car wash from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Sion Farm Shopping Center.
Proceeds from the event will support a drug-free back-to-school jam to be held in August, according to Tanisea James, youth group coordinator.
Cars will be $8, trucks $10, and SUVs $12, James said. A $2 fee will be charged for clearing vehicle interiors.
