Funeral Is July 20 for Malcolm Abbott Maynard


July 15, 2004 – Malcolm Abbott Maynard died on Tuesday, July 13, at Juan F. Luis Hospital. He was 68.
Viewing will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday, July 20, at St. Peter's Anglican Church. Funeral services will follow there at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Kingshill Cemetery.
Maynard is survived by his wife, Manatta A. Maynard; daughters Mercia Maynard-Weaver, Sonia Maynard-John and Dorette Maynard; sons James O. Maynard, Abraham S. Maynard, Myron L. Maynard and Edson O. Maynard; and grandchildren Calvin Maynard, Evert Weaver, Kareem Beazer, Devon Weaver, Kyana John, Dornel Weaver, Kiwan John, Keshawn Peters and Shyrees Cassidy Maynard.
Also surviving are his brothers Josiah, Norris and Luther Abbott; sisters Myrtle Otto, Elvina Abbott and Wilma Abbott; special nieces Gladys Weeks, Ernestine and Brenda Walters, Dianne Harris and others too numerous to mention; special nephews Raymond Walters, Melvin Norford, Cecil Walters, Lachesnaye Otto and others too numerous to mention; aunts Doreen James and Erma James; daughters-in-law Carolyn Maynard and Dorah Williams-Maynard; sons-in-law Evert Weaver Sr. and Alford John; sisters-in-law Dorothy Huggins and Ruby de Jesus; brothers-in-law Peter Griffin, Bob Otto and John Walters.
Also surviving are special cousins Irita Griffin and family, George Huggins and family and Ruth Woodley and family; special friends Patrick Williams and family, Delores Gumbs and family, Catherine Braham, Anne Moses, Emily Grant and family, Rita Phillip, Ephraim Francis, the Sunny Isle Housing residents, the St. Peter's Men's Fellowship, St. Peter's ECW and other family and friends too numerous to mention.
