July 25, 2004 – James E. Harris, age 82, formerly of Montserrat but last residing at La Grande Princess, died July 18 at Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at St. John's Episcopal Church at 9:30 a.m., with viewing at 8:30 a.m. Burial will be at Kingshill Cemetery.
He is survived by his daughter, Patsy Lake, in Antigua; grandchildren, Carlton Douglas, Tess and Peter Lake, Deanne Douglas Evans, Anna-Maria Ray, Stacy King; 14 grandchildren including Ariel, Rhea, Brandon, Brent, Shahalia, Shea, Shemica, Jelisa, James Jr., Conniel, Anton; son-in-law, Peter Lake; nieces and nephews including Sarah-Ann and Margaret in Antigua, Abraham Obuan of St. Croix; the Irish family of Montserrat, the Harris family of Antigua; stepsons, Irving, Raymond, Jerrett, Clifford, Trevor and Mark Brantley; stepdaughters, Yvette Hill, Heather Miller, Michelkle and Soraya Brantley; step-granddaughters, Jean Cruse and Ruth Williams; step-daughters-in-law, Maria Brantley, Agneta Williams; sister-in-law, Lucille Bartlet; close friend Catherine Daniel; and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
