Red Clay Arts will curate a special exhibition of vanguard visual art, video and animation. The exhibit in Christiansted will feature the work of artists and filmmakers from St. Croix and Brooklyn, NY.
The sponsor on St. Croix is Correa Studios.
According to a press release, Red Clay Arts provides platforms for emerging vanguard, new media and experimental artistic expression and presenting it to the local community. Correa Studios is a printmaking studio, own and operated by Brasilian native Jimena Correa.
The exhibit is Aug. 7 through August 27. The opening reception is Aug. 7 from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
The Gallery is open Tuesday through Friday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Correa Studios, 5 Company Street # 205 (above the courtyard behind ReMax) Christiansted.
