First Place Up For Grabs in Flag Football

August 7, 2004 – Knightz and Stallions play for first place in the Men’s Flag Football League at 3 p.m. on Aug. 8. This will be the 10th week of the season. Playoffs will begin in two weeks.
The results from week nine were as follows.
In the first game the Island Stallions defeated the Raiders, 35 to 0.
The first score was made when Sherwin Clairmont passed to Dwaine Harvey.
Danley McIntosh ran in the next two touchdowns.
Rupert Ross received a pass and ran it in for score 28-0 and Robert Hunt ran in the final touchdown.
In the second game Knightz won over the Panthers, 30 to 7.
Winston Marcus scored first for the Knightz.
Yahanatan Nugent ran back the kickoff to tie the score.
But then it was all Knightz scoring.
Delani Ford passed to Howard Brown to put the game out of reach for the Panthers at 22-7.
In the third game the Bravehearts forfeited to the Warriors.
