Aug. 10, 2004 – A funeral service for Vernie Brown, who died at the age of 59, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Bovoni Baptist Church. There will be no viewing.
She is survived by sons, Michael and Joel Shillingford; daughter, Henrietta Dyer; brother, Henderson Dyer; sisters, Manuala Ralph and Dorothy Jeffers; close friend, Peter Paul; five grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews, friends and relatives too numerous to mention.
