Sept. 9, 2004 – Saiedah Canton, 14, formerly of St. Croix but last resident in Orlando, Fla., died Aug. 29.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 13, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, with viewing beginning at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Kingshill Cemetery.
She is survived by her mother, Christine Petersen Canton; father, Eric A Canton Jr.; grandparents, Jeanne Farrelly, Paula Rosa, Eric A. Canton Sr. and Almeric "Rocky" Petersen; sister, Christisha Canton; aunts, Jacqueline Canton, Nicole Canton, Yaminah Petersen, Dahlia Petersen and Leann Petersen; uncles, Anthony Abdool, Ronald Abdool and Curtis Canton; cousins, Masai Harris, Shani Harris and Kareem Harris; a great-great-great-grandmother; great-aunts, great-uncles, great-great uncles and aunts, and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
