Ousting St. Croix Senators 'Way Past Overdue'

0

Dear Source,
The Sept. 11, 2004, primary election results came as no surprise to me.
As I read down the list of names and took a glance at the selected candidates that had made it to the second round of the process, one thing that I can say without a doubt is that the people of St. Croix meant business and finally spoke with their votes of confidence.
It was way past overdue for these senators to be ousted.
There are actually one or two more senators who need to be removed as well, but, of course, we all know that this will eventually take place during the general election, which is to be held in November.
I knew that the people of St. Croix would eventually wake up one day and realize that the very same people whom we continue to elect each year continue to do nothing but collect a pay check every two weeks for doing absolutely nothing for our islands.
Thank you, St. Croix, for expressing your sincere and true feelings by voting for a change.
I am hoping that this very same attitude is expressed during the general election in November. I will be reading the results.
Make me a proud Washingtonian-Crucian citizen of the Virgin Islands.
