Sept. 14, 2004 – Funeral services will be held Friday for Adele C. Christian Flynn, also known as "Mama Flynn" or "Ms. Flynn," of Estate Rattan, who passed away on Thursday, Sept. 9, at Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital. She was 90.
She is survived by her daughters Florette "Patsy" Flynn and Donna-Marie F. Osborne; sons Lorne O. Dawson and Elroy C. Flynn; stepdaughter Ellery Flynn Christian; stepsons Orville, Errol and Louis Flynn; grandchildren Anthony, Dale, Christina and Alvaris Dawson, Crystal Collins, Aretha Brodhurst Ventura, Othneil "Craiggie" Brodhurst, Lambert "Lambie" Telesford, Ebony Jackson(deceased), Dionne Marie Flynn, Chanel, Marquetta and Tiffany Flynn, Trena A. Smith, Mia Osborne-Santos and Miyoko Adele Osborne and Javier "Macho" Marrero Jr.; great-grandchildren Marcellino Jr., Marcellinia and Myles Ventura, Othneil Jr., Jahraun, Allahmarah, Jahmara and Yahfari Brodhurst, Aeryel and Aeryk Williams, Brandon and Britney Dawson, Shalem-Shiloh M. Viewing is scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday at Speak the Word Ministries, Peter's Rest, followed by services at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at the Frederiksted Cemetery.
