Sept. 20, 2004 – Dine alfresco with live music on Friday when the Love City Pan Dragons holds a fundraiser fish fry, starting at 4 p.m., in Cruz Bay Park in St. John.
"We have good food," spokesman Elaine Penn said, discussing the reason why people should plan to attend.
She said parents of Pan Dragon members cook all the food.
The menu runs to conch, mutton, chicken, fish, and souse. The price runs from $8 to $15 depending on what you pick. Your dinner includes two side dishes and a vegetable.
Penn said the money goes to support Pan Dragon activities.
"We had to spend a lot of money this year," she said.
She said the organization had to replace stolen and broken equipment.
The Pan Dragons has 30 members ranging in age from seven to 14.
When they're taking a break at Friday's fundraiser, Deejay Percy will play.
