Nov. 23, 2004 — The Community Foundation of the Virgin Islands (CFVI) invites interested members of the community to a meeting of not-for-profit professionals on the island of St. Thomas and St. John. The purpose of the meeting is to share the findings-to-date of CFVI's initiative to strengthen the non-profit sector in the territory.
Participants at the meeting will receive a copy of "USVI Community Organizations: Status and Needs." Copies of the "Directory of Community Organizations Serving the U.S. Virgin Islands 2004-2005" will also be available.
The meeting will be held:
4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
at Palms Court Harbour View
At the meeting, CFVI will also ask for feedback on some preliminary work to create an association, which would serve the non-profit sector in the Virgin Islands.
