Nov. 26, 2004 – The Methodist Church is announcing that its radio station WTJC 96.9 LPFM is celebrating its first anniversary of broadcasting on Monday, Nov. 29.
In that time the station has grown from five volunteers playing only hymns to 24-hour programming and the station's fulfilling its mission of an outreach ministry, according to a release.
To mark the occasion, a Praise-A-Thon is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 27, and Monday, Nov. 29. Hours both days are 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Listeners are encouraged to call the station either day and pledge support. Contributions may also be mailed to WTJC Radio, P.O.
