Prayer Service Launches 40th Anniversary Celebration

0

Nov. 27, 2004 – St. Joseph High School, the only Catholic high school on St. Croix and the oldest high school still in existence on the island, will begin its 40th anniversary celebration with a prayer service on Sunday, November 28, 2004. The service will commence at 3:00 p.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. A reception and open house will follow on the school campus. This is the first in a year-long calendar of events to commemorate the school’s anniversary.
Past and present students, faculty, staff, friends, supporters, their families and the entire community are asked to come together as we offer prayers of thanksgiving for the blessings of the last forty years and pray for guidance and blessings in the years to come.
Since 1964, St. Joseph High School has challenged and nurtured students to develop their full intellectual, spiritual, physical, and social potential. Ninety-five percent of our graduates go on to colleges or universities. Hundreds of alumni have made substantial contributions, both here in the Virgin Islands and on the mainland. St. Joseph High School is a coeducational college-preparatory school, and is fully accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools.
