Jan. 28, 2005 – Maho Bay Clay Works is offering a class in wall sconces, starting Feb. 4. Students can learn to make beautiful and personalized lighting fixtures for their own homes through an easy and fun technique.
The instructor, Catherine Perry, an artist and painter, is on staff at the new Maho Bay Art Center working in the textiles department. Perry will teach you all the tricks of using our easy system and turn you loose with ideas for personalized surface decoration for your own wall sconces.
The class is designed as a three-day mini-workshop starting Friday, Feb. 4, from 12:30 – 3:30 p.m. and continuing the two following Fridays (Feb. 11 and 18) at the same time. The class tuition is $105.00 and includes all studio fees and firings.
