Feb. 2, 2005 – A funeral service will be held Friday for Sargidai "Doonlin" Quetel, who died Monday at the Roy L. Schneider Hospital. She was 55.
Quetel, who worked at the Human Services Department for 10 years, is survived by her husband Louis T. Quetel, her mother Dayah; two sons, Louis Jr. and Jeffery Quetel; two daughters Sarah and Jane Quetel; her brother Sona Rampasad Ramlogan; a sister, Baity Ramlogan; and special friends Hazrah Gumbs and Guyita Hodge.
Quetel's other family and friends include:Cathy Cowan, Natalie and Nicole Cinrion, Wayne Greaux, Jean Quetel and Mary Magras.
A viewing will be held from 5 to 6 p.m. Thursday at the Davis Funeral Home Chapel. Another viewing will be held starting at 9:30 a.m. Friday at St. Ann's Chapel followed by the funeral service at 10 a.m. Arrangements have been made by Davis Funeral Home.
