May 11, 2005 – Veronica Durant, age 100, of Whim Gardens died on Thursday, May 6 at Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital.
She is survived by her adopted daughter and caregiver, Christine Greenidge; granddaughters, Norma Krieger, Elaine Krieger Chaplin, Celestine, Sharon, Judy, Jean, Joyce and Veronica Durant, Vanessa Durant-Latimer, Sheila, Julienne and Lorraine Durant, Diane Minus, Crystal Wright and Vanessa Latimer; grandsons, Oscar, Alfred, Michael and Anthony Durant and Stephan Minus; 22 great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Cross Catholic Church, with viewing at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Christiansted Cemetery.
Professional arrangements are entrusted to James Memorial Funeral Home.
Durant was preceded in death by granddaughters Lucille Krieger and Carolyn Durant-Gethers.
