May 25, 2005 – Store Tvaer Gade, the street that runs between the Waterfront next to the Greenhouse and Main Street, will be closed to all traffic from 6 p.m. to midnight Thursday, while the "heavily traversed street" is being "brought up to standards."
A release from Government House did not explain what was meant by "brought up to standards."
It said only that it was being done by "Better Roads Asphalt Corporation as a component of the island-wide pavement rehabilitation program.
