V.I. Needs Proven Leaders


John de Jongh, in his lengthy and overly-familiarsummation
of what Virgin Islanders should do, offers no new insights and one serious omission: the fact that an island territory whose social, economic, and political base is dependent on a mutually committed relationship with Washington (and the world) needs leaders who have a proven record of working successfully with large national and international organizations.
