Aug 27, 2005 – The Carl and Marie Lawaetz Museum located in Estate Little La Grange will be closed for the month of September. The museum will resume its schedule on Oct. 1 accepting visitors on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Estate Whim Plantation Museum and its museum store will continue throughout the summer its hours of Monday thru Friday 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Guided tours are conducted every half hour. Museum admission rates are $8 for adults, $5 senior citizens and students with ID, $5 groups of 10 or more, $4 children ages 6 to 12 and free for children under 6 and SCLS members.
