Cultural Bazaar, Parking Restrictions Return to Frederiksted

0

Sept. 7, 2005 – As cruise ships begin to return to St. Croix and the Department of Tourism's "Cruzan Cultural Bazaar," kicks in again, so do parking restrictions.
Herminio Velazquez, deputy chief of police, in a recent press release, announced the following parking restrictions and street closing in Frederiksted on Saturday, Sept. 10 and Tuesday, Sept. 27, from 5:30 p.m. to 11 p.m.
On these dates, there will be no parking nor traffic allowed on King street between the intersections of Hill Street to Customs House Street. This is being done to accommodate the vendors and pedestrians during this event.
Violators will be ticketed and/or towed away at the vehicle owners expense. Velazquez and the police department, according to the press release, regrets any inconvenience this might cause the public.
